Ultimate Angler Bass, Fish Lake, Duluth Minnesota, Doug Pirila Well the Ultimate Angler Challenge Bass Series is officially off and running. Fish Lake had some great fishing, weather and people. We launched out of the public launch at the dam.

The winners were Al Ansell (Moose Lake) and Doug Pirila (Proctor) with a 5 bass limit weighting in at 15.85 pounds, a good weight for any lake. Second place went to Ouitdee and Lee Carson (both of Duluth) with 13.90 pounds and the Big Bass weighting in at 4.3 pounds.

Whoever said there were not bass or not many in Fish Lake, was obviously not fishing bass.
